one more thing.

I roasted rutabaga tonight. And I didn't like it! Bad texture, mealy. That never happens. Anyone got rutabaga (swedes is another name) love?

Never mind...I just didn't cook it long enough.

mealy is not what it's supposed to be. Maybe you had one that had accidentally been frozen? I love rutabaga, in soup, fried, in a gratin.

Turns out I just didn't cook it long enough...it ended up pretty good, but I'd have to say it's not in my top 3 Brassica yet...I must unlock its charms!
